Cardno
Emerging Markets USA, Ltd. (Cardno) is seeking a Governance Team Leader candidate
for an anticipated USAID-funded program in Tanzania. The program will provide
support to national, district and local governments on health care financing,
human resources and governance/accountability, and to support increased use
of available information to inform decision-making processes.

Qualifications:
|
|
The
Governance Team Leader will design and implement a program of support
directed at national and local government levels to strengthen health sector
policy, civic engagement and social accountability mechanisms, strategic
planning, financial management and overall governance structures. The
Governance Team Leader will work closely with other team leaders to develop
an integrated program of assistance to national and local government
entities. They will manage technical specialists and identify short-term technical
assistance requirements.
The
Governance Team Leader should have demonstrated experience in health
governance including policy development, organizational development,
strategic planning processes and community outreach and accountability.
They should also possess:

A Master’s degree in a relevant field.
·
Minimum of 10 years of experience in health
governance, policy or organizational development in a health setting.
Preference for other experience in sectors, such as agriculture and education
·
At least 5 years professional experience at a
senior technical level.
·
Experience managing teams in the field.
