Cardno Emerging Markets (UK) Ltd. is preparing to
tender for the ‘Transforming the Economy through Climate smart agribusiness
(NU-TEC)’ programme in Northern Uganda (formerly advertised as Improving
Rural Markets Value Chains).. The programme will provide climate smart,
pro-poor market development advisory services in support of agribusiness in
Northern Uganda to facilitate development of markets and business models that
benefit the poor and increase climate change resilience. This would most

establishing partnerships with the private sector in order to overcome them
using lessons learned from the M4P approach.
Cardno Emerging Markets (UK) is seeking a Team
Leader candidate who will be responsible for the strategic vision, overall
delivery and results of the programme. The Team Leader will also be
responsible for the management of a team of international and local
consultants. The programme is expected to last five years and located in Kampala
with frequent site visits to Northern Uganda.
