Project Summary:
The objective of SIAP-1 is to contribute to good governance in Indonesia by strengthening integrity and accountability in government – principally at the national level. It will do this by supporting governmental and non-governmental efforts to strengthen integrity and accountability. Two major components of SIAP-1 are:
1. Supporting efforts by key accountability agencies such as the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the Supreme Audit Body (BPK) to strengthen integrity and accountability in government.
2. Supporting efforts to strengthen political integrity and accountability by reducing the influence of “money politics.” This will include support for efforts to strengthen the fair regulation of political finance and effective oversight and enforcement.

The Program Manager/Anti-Corruption Specialist is a senior expert on anti-corruption and accountability issues, and will support the Strengthening Integrity and Accountability Program-1 (SIAP-1) in Indonesia by providing anti-corruption technical expertise to analyze and recommend ways to build capacity of government agencies empowered to deal with anti-corruption issues, and reform government laws and processes to reduce corruption. He/she is a member of the SIAP 1 senior management team and reports directly to the Chief of Party.
**This is a local position; only Indonesian nationals will be considered.**
Responsibilities: • Coordinate activities performed by the various components of the project to ensure collaboration and cross-training efficiencies, including workshops, and regional and interregional networking meeting
• Monitor progress of all technical project activities to measure performance and results, making adjustments when necessary
• Periodically, write reports on the project’s activities and achievements
• Conduct meetings on a regular basis with Government of Indonesia officials concerning project activities, along with the COP and other project managers,
• Provide anti-corruption expertise to enhance project assistance related to, for example, legal reforms, procedural reforms, identifying corruption vulnerabilities in government agencies, coordinating across government agencies, and involving the participation of civil society.
• Act as the project spokesperson in the absence of the COP.
• Communicate on a regular and frequent basis with KPK and BPK managers to elicit their needs and priorities for technical support, and incorporate their ideas into the SIAP-1 work plan
• Manage the Overall Program Communication efforts.
• Recruit technical advisors and specialists to serve as trainers and consultants;
• Write reports describing the work accomplished and the outcomes of those activities.
General provisions and limitations:
• All final decisions related to this Project are made by the COP and MSI/HQ responsible and authorized personnel.
• Any communication with USAID is the authority of the COP and MSI/HQ responsible and authorized personnel.
Qualifications:
• At least eight (8) years of technical experience working in anti-corruption, governance, public management, civil society monitoring; or political corruption.
•Experience managing international governance development projects at a senior level, preferably USAID-funded.
•Master’s degree or equivalent;
