Project Summary:
The objective of SIAP-1 is to contribute to good governance in Indonesia by strengthening integrity and accountability in government – principally at the national level. It will do this by supporting governmental and non-governmental efforts to strengthen integrity and accountability. Two major components of SIAP-1 are:
1. Supporting efforts by key accountability agencies such as the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the Supreme Audit Board (BPK) to strengthen integrity and accountability in government.
2. Supporting efforts to strengthen political integrity and accountability by reducing the influence of “money politics.” This will include support for efforts to strengthen the fair regulation of political finance and effective oversight and enforcement.

The BPK Component Manager serves as the primary contact with Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK), Indonesia's Supreme Audit Board, and reports to the Chief of Party (COP) on initiatives and accomplishments related to Component 1 of the Strengthening Integrity and Accountability Program-1 as detailed in the Project Description of the Cooperative Agreement with USAID. The BPK Component Manager is responsible for ensuring that specific training programs and technical assistance initiatives are implemented effectively and that government and nongovernment counterparts are coordinated with closely.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate on a regular and frequent basis with BPK managers to elicit their needs and priorities for technical support, and incorporate their ideas into the SIAP-1 work plan
• Provide supervision over performance improvement activities, capacity building activities, and activities to build relationships with BPK stakeholders;
• Provide technical support to BPK in these areas. Engage and manage other members of the staff, short-term consultants, and local organizations, as needed;
• Develop training programs for BPK staff according to the SIAP-1 Work Plan and formal requests by BPK;
• Recruit technical advisors and specialists to serve as trainers and consultants for BPK;
• Write reports describing the work accomplished and the outcomes of those activities.
Qualifications:
• University degree, preferably MA, in Auditing, Finance, or related field
• At least 5 years experience working with technical assistance programs at BPK or BPKP, preferably USAID-funded
• Experience Managing consultants (TOR design, coordination, budgeting)
• Experience managing training programs
• Very good spoken and written English
