Purpose of Role
In order to support GRM Futures Group’s remarkable strategic
growth, it has become necessary to create a new and pivotal role at the core of
our business. We are currently seeking to recruit a Director - Contracts and
Compliance, in order to mitigate corporate risk by ensuring adherence and
compliance with the regulatory and procedural guidelines as dictated and
prescribed by our clients.
Other key Inputs include:
- Establishing,
implementing and overseeing robust procedures around contracting
- Ensuring
operational compliance in relation to corporate processes and procedures
- Managing
the establishment and ongoing legal compliance of the registrations of our
legal entities in all countries where we work
The successful candidate will demonstrate the
following essential criteria:
- A
relevant degree - Masters preferred
- Minimum
15 years total (technical and managerial) experience in a combination of
contracts, business management and operations
- Working
knowledge of international business, contracting and cooperative
agreements and registrations, corporate structures, and governance
- Experience
in dealing with one of the USAID, DFID or DFAT contracting models.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience across multiple
donors
- Proven
ability to effectively build, lead and manage your team, and operate
autonomously with minimal direction
- Proven
ability to build collaborative working relationships with internal and
external customers and key stakeholders across multiple disciplines
- Willingness
and ability to travel internationally, at times at short notice
