POSITION SUMMARY

Futures Group seeks an entry-level Business Analyst to join our Commercial Management Group in the development of commercial/cost proposals and in the financial management of ongoing proposals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Activities will include (but not be limited to) the following:

• Create budgets and financial information for new, existing, and ending contracts.
• Prepare and review of narrations, justifications and value for money analysis.
• Financial management of of existing programs
• Work collaboratively with technical staff on project forecasting.
• Research salary rates, equipment costs, office costs etc. for corporate financial management tools.
• Review/edit/formatting of proposals for client submission
• Provide general program assistance to project technical staff and administrators.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS in financial management, business administration, accounting, economics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Advanced ability working with Excel spreadsheets.
• Experience in the creation of budgets
• Experience working with international donor-funded budgets, preferred
• Familiarity  international donors including USAID, AUSAID, EC, WB preferred
