WaterAid is a leading organisation that provides water, sanitation and hygiene (WaSH) services for the poor and marginalised people and influence the government and development partners to become more responsive and pro-poor. Recognising the hydro-geological variation, WaterAid offers a range of context-specific water and sanitation technologies in Bangladesh. We intend to enrich our technological portfolio with more innovative technological, practical and sustainable WaSH solutions that can respond to climate change impacts, arsenic contamination and other emerging factors. 
You shall review, update and roll out WaterAid’s different global policies at country level. You shall document learning and disseminate at national and global level.

We want YOU to encounter the technological challenges and social barriers, capacitate the engineers of WaterAid and its partners and suggest and accredit innovative technologies for WaterAid projects. You will also provide technical support during construction and assess performance of the interventions. Your engagement will be required for designing and implementing the research and pilot initiatives including sludge management, rainwater harvesting, decentralised waste water management systems, reverse osmosis etc.
You shall also be managing two projects- i) implementation of safe water facilities at public places at selected locations of Bangladesh and ii) promotion of urban rain water harvesting in Bangladesh through constructing demonstration plants, negotiating with different institutions for introducing rainwater harvesting in the engineering curricula and subsequent capacity building of faculty members.
