Programme Officer, Urban

WaterAid Bangladesh is looking for a highly motivated and self-driven individual to lead our urban work at our office in Dhaka.

• Play an active role in achieving objectives of the Organization related to its urban programme; 

• Build and maintain strong partnership with urban utilities agencies, local government and other relevant stakeholders for influencing them for pro-poor services and establishment of accountable systems; 

• Play strong role to support organization in proceeding with current advocacy agenda;

• Support and guide Partner NGOs to proceed develop advocacy agenda in accordance with organization’s goals and guide them as appropriate; 

• Support partner in planning, budgeting and monitor their progress and quality of work; 

• Take initiatives in publication of documents related to policy influences, good practices and learning and dissemination of the same.
