The Governance Advisor is placed through the People4Change program; which is a people-to-people support programme providing capacity development support to ActionAid and her partner organisations.

Job tasks include
- Support the development of policy papers on governance.
- Train and build the capacity of key individuals and community based organisations in budget analyses, transparency and accountability.
- Advise and mentor AA governance staff in program implementation.
- Make analyses of the existing constitution and share with relevant AA Staff and rights holders
Required qualifications
- Post graduate degree within relevant field (governance, development studies)
- At least 5 years of post-graduate work experience with governance related work
- Management experience from an international context
- Solid knowledge of accountability and governance concepts and theories
- Work experience from non-profit organisations
- Training and facilitation skills
- Ability to facilitate and guide processes without taking the lead
- Culturally Sensitive
- English proficiency

June 17th or 18th Face-to-Face interviews of the final two candidates at in Yangon
