Position Summary:
The Administrative Assistant will provide secretarial, logistical and operations support to project teams, USAID and partner country personnel. S/he will report to the Finance and Administration Officer. This position will be full time in Accra.

Responsibilities:
- Organize
and file all information and supporting documents pertaining to the
implementation of the project.
- Conduct
research and obtain documents to inform technical assistance, briefing and
reports.
- Coordinate
logistics for travel, study tours, training and other events.
- Maintain
supplies and ensure that sufficient office supplies are available at all
times.
- Support
the Finance and Administrative Officer in the timely submission of monthly
staff timesheets and track annual, sick and special leave.
- Place
and screen telephone calls and follow up with vendors and providers.
- Schedule
appointments and meetings.
- Greet
and welcome visitors.
- Perform
other administrative, clerical, and financial tasks as required by the
Administrative and Financial Manager and the Program Director.
Qualifications:
- College
degree in Business Administration or similar discipline.
- Experience
working as administrative assistant, secretary or technical support for a
public, NGO or international organization with at least two years of
experience supporting senior staff.
- Prior
experience working with USAID-funded health projects preferred.
- Knowledge
of computer programs such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Strong
organizational, time management and communication skills.
