We are currently
looking for a Knowledge Management System Analyst to be based out of our office
near Trafalgar Square, London.
In this role you will
support Save the Children in its strategic goal of becoming a learning
organisation, through analysing and documenting knowledge management business
requirements and working with colleagues to deliver the systems that meet these
needs. You'll work with the business to implement knowledge management best
practice, champion the use of new applications and maximise the use of current
applications through training and optimisation.
To be successful in
this role you will need in-depth knowledge/experience within the International
Development sector and in an organisation with overseas activity, be
experienced in facilitating requirements gathering workshops and be an expert
in SharePoint administration, analysis and support. You'll have strong
interpersonal skills and cultural awareness, with experience of delivering
global web solutions that cater for local needs (i.e. areas with poor
bandwidth/multiple character sets etc.).
It would also be
beneficial, though is not essential, if you have an understanding of SCORN
compliant e-learning platforms, experience with agile development
methodologies, and experience in SharePoint application development on the .net
platform (C#) including the use of HTML, CSS and java script.
