Basic purpose	The successful candidate will support scientist, researchers, scholars and students in all laboratory, greenhouse and field experiments, sets up, operates and maintains instruments and equipment. She/He monitors experiments, makes observations and records results.
Roles and responsibilities	- Leads all the technicians to implement experiment plan by establishment and maintenance of hybrid rice breeding nurseries in the field or greenhouse, including all field activities of field operations and management - Gather and prepare all materials needed for experiments in laboratory, greenhouse and field - Gather and record experiment observations and results in required formats - Collect and examine experimental samples using devices, and assist in seed handling and shipping - Supervise seasonal helpers (Kabesilya) for field operation - Monitor field supply inventory - Train scholars and students in experimental procedures - Perform all other related duties that may be assigned from time to time by the immediate supervisor Qualifications: - At least two (2) years college or university education - At least three (3) years related work experience - English and Filipino - Experience in rice cultivation and field management
