Job Summary
The Cambodia Agricultural Value Chain Program (CAVAC) is a large agricultural development program funded by the Australian Government. It focuses on research, extension, irrigation, agribusiness and policy. The program is based in Phnom Penh with offices in three provinces; Kampot, Takeo and Kampong Thom.

Key Responsibilities
CAVAC is a dynamic program requiring the services of a highly qualified Consultant to design diagnostic tools for identifying three major pests in rice.
The applicant will have the following skills and qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Agronomy; preferably specialised in entomology and phytopathology and pest management;
  • At least five years’ experience in pest management in rice crop;
  • Working experience developing diagnostic tools for pest;
  • Good knowledge and understanding on field practice in Cambodia or any Southeast Asian country;
  • At least five years’ experience in providing consultation on pest management on rice and other crops.
