Basic purpose
Will assist the Experiment Station (ES) - Bioenvironment
Assistant Manager in over-all operations of G/H/S unit. He/She may from time to
time liase with research staff, internal and external clients.
Roles and
responsibilities
Receive all R&M requests on all G/H/S activities and
special projects
Evaluate and confer with the immediate supervisor all
requests pertaining to R&M and special projects
Act/perform the necessary solution to the request and
special projects after conferring with all stakeholders including PPS
Present do-able and financially acceptable plans on all
R&M requests and special projects
Supervise/follow up and see the completion of all requests
and special projects
Assist and perform actual repair and maintenance of
engineering trades within ES-Bioenvironment
Participate in all other related activities and projects
within ES-Bioenvironment
Perform and implement other tasks that may be assigned by
the Unit head and immediate supervisor
Qualification
requirements
Technical or vacational graduate of computer education,
carpentry, electrical, plumbing, welding and mechanical
One year using CAD software or three years working under a
particular engineering trade
