IT Consultant, Strengthening Integrity and Accountability Program (SIAP I), Jakarta, Indonesia

Project/Proposal Summary: 
The objective of SIAP-1 is to contribute to good governance in Indonesia by strengthening integrity and accountability in government – principally at the national level. It will do this by supporting governmental and non-governmental efforts to strengthen integrity and accountability. Two major components of SIAP-1 are:
1. Supporting efforts by key accountability agencies such as the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the Supreme Audit Body (BPK) to strengthen integrity and accountability in government.
2. Supporting efforts to strengthen political integrity and accountability by reducing the influence of “money politics.” This will include support for efforts to strengthen the fair regulation of political finance and effective oversight and enforcement.

Position Summary:
MSI will engage the services of a consultant for the oversight of the IT needs of office, including system installations, maintenance, support and technical consultations. The IT consultant will provide on-call remote desktop support, and on-site trouble-shooting support.

Responsibilities:
• Install and oversee local area network (LAN) maintenance and installation for project offices.
• Ensure WAN connectivity and maintenance for project offices.
• Supervise server and server application maintenance.
• Configure and maintain computer hardware and software installation.
• Provide support and oversight to network and server users.
• Provide assistance and advice in procurement and evaluation of all technical equipment.

Qualifications:
• Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
• Minimum have five years’ experience in network administration and technical support, preferably on an international donor-funded project.
• Demonstrated knowledge of hardware, software, and networking.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to address complex tasks and consistently deliver to the project schedule.
