- Project: SUPPORT PROGRAMME FOR INFRASTRUCTURE SECTOR STRATEGIES AND ALTERNATIVE FINANCING (SISSAF).
The overall objectives of the project are:
- to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery and financial sustainability in the Lebanese infrastructure sectors (energy, water and land transport);
- to improve aid effectiveness provided to the Lebanese infrastructure sectors. - Duration: 29 months
- Education: Master Degree in transport engineering, sciences or economics. Specialization in planning, design and management of land transport systems will be an asset.
- Experience: - Minimum 10 years of experience in land transport sector projects for activities supporting: the development of sector strategies, programmes, master plans, and/or projects' formulation and implementation;
- Experience in at least two projects in land transport sector (of minimum 2 years each), regarding urban transport systems during the past ten years;
- Experience of at least 3 years in the field of international cooperation and preferably in the geographical area of the Southern European Neighbourhood countries;
- Experience in Mass Transit systems and operation of public transports will be an asset;
- Experience in working with EU-funded projects will be an asset;
- Excellent spoken and written English, French and Arabic is mandatory. - Working language: English
