Roles and responsibilities | -
Assist the Director with the implementation of the IAU audit database,
including assisting with completing the initial population of the
database and maintaining the database thereafter - Develop and
maintain an audit recommendation database to track the status of
individual recommendations across all center clients - Maintain the
IAU's secure physical and electronic archives of audit reports,
presentations and correspondence files. Develop and maintain the IAU's
professional reference library (hard copy and electronic components) -
Manage the updating of the electronic IAU manual, standard document
templates and the IAU website, coordinating content provided by other
IAU staff - Assist IAU staff with the compilation, filing and secure
archiving of audit working papers and disposal of old working papers in
accordance with IAU filinf policies - Maintain files related to short
term consultant contracts, review consultant claims for eligibility
according to the contract prior to approval by the Director and monitors
cumulative expenditures against the contracts - Manage contracts
with CGIAR center or external providers for editing and publishing of
IAU materials for public presentation and distribution - Assist IAU
staff with logistical arrangement for preparation of travel, consultant
requests for proposal and selection, training, local transport and
meeting scheduling - Monitor and follow-up where necessary, IAU staff
time tracking records, leave credits, travel schedules, performance
appraisals and training activities - Implement, under the supervision
of other IAU staff, computer assisted audit techniques, in particular
the running of audit software and financial system reporting modules, to
produce sampling and analytical reports for use in IAU audit
assignments - Conduct, under the supervision of other IAU staff and
in accordance with approved test plans, the testing of transaction
samples and preparation of reports on the results of this testing -
Conduct, under the supervision of other IAU staff, research for the IAU
on various corporate governance, finance, control, risk management,
auditing methodology and other topics relevant to the Unit's work - Develop and maintain electronic reference files of Center client information ("permanent audit files") -
Ensure that information pertaining to IRRI administrative matters flow
to the Director and IAU staff and coordinate responses to requests for
administrative information from IRRI - Supervise and keep track of OU
equipment receipt and disposals and act as the OU ICT coordinator for
the IAU at IRRI. Supervise changes and renovation or repair of the IAU's
assigned facilities at IRRI - Supervise the ordering and replenishment of IAU office supplies at IRRI
Qualification Requirements: - University graduate, preferably major in Accounting - At least three (3) years relevant work experience - Proficient in using English and Filipino languages |
