Job Purpose:

To assist in establishing procedures and monitoring Office of Information Systems and Technology’s (OIST) conformity to processes to ensure quality assurance within OIST.

Expected Outcomes

- Assists in defining and implementing IT quality processes, taking into account industry standards and best practices specific to IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Project Management.
- Develops Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) among OIST divisions/units and assists in the development of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with clients.
- Assists in the review and selection of appropriate tools for the automation of IT processes and in their successful deployment.
- Monitors OIST’s observance of established IT quality processes and alerts supervisors on non-conformity.
- Assists in developing and recommending key process steps that need to be implemented to ensure conformity to established processes.
- Assists in software quality assurance and implementation of ITIL.
- Monitors process quality adoption and recommend improvements.
- Prepares reports on quality assurance metrics for OIST management’s reference for decision-making.
- Assists in creating and managing a repository of quality management related information.
- Provides OIST teams with information on quality assurance management processes.

Educational Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or Computer Science

Relevant Experience And Other Requirements:

Work experience
- 5 years work experience. Must have at least one year or more project experience in IT process implementation, IT Governance, or Compliance procedures
- Experience in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) process and IT quality assurance is preferred
- Experience with Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) is highly desirable
Technical knowledge
- Must have the ability to document IT processes, controls and establish metrics in support of quality processes
- Should be willing to go through extensive project documentation and arrive at IT process improvements that are necessary for OIST
- Experience in many productivity tools like Visio, MS Office, Lotus Notes, etc.

People and leadership skills
- Able to liaise and work effectively with staff within own work location and throughout ADB
- Able to work collaboratively with teams as a constructive team member
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English
