POSITION LOCATION: INTERNATIONAL TO BE DETERMINED OR HOME COUNTRY OF SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE. POSSIBLE LOCATIONS. KOREA, JAPAN, TAIWAN, HONG KONG, MALAYSIA AND SINGAPORE. NO RELOCATION BUDGET.


PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This position will be responsible for developing, disseminating and integrating marketing expertise and other strategy and decision-making processes to Asia Support Offices to help them become more effective.
This is a critical position for augmenting marketing expertise and developing marketing and operational strategy for fast growing Asian offices which have the opportunity to power Partnership growth.
The primary objective of this position is to drive sustainable revenue growth in the Asia markets to reach our Partnership revenue targets by providing valuable input to Asian Support Office CEO’s Marketing Directors and, also by working with middle management in marketing and customer service enhance learning, sharing and performance.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide a strong strategic overview and identify growth and efficiency opportunities.
    • Undertake research, data collection, compilation and analysis on local marketing practices and opportunities.
    • Provide expertise and insight and appropriate training in areas of marketing and resource generation.
    • Work as a mentor or consultant to developing marketing units on their planning and execution of Donor Engagement and Customer Service.
    • Implement or supervise or mentor the implementation of marketing activities when necessary with a goal of skill transfer.
    • Ability to take assignments and work collaboratively with Asian marketing teams and to add value by bringing global knowledge.
    • Lead or participate in Partnership projects where marketing expertise or participation is required as directed by Team Leader.
    • Facilitate local adoption of Global Branding.
    • Promote innovation.
    • Provide leadership and co-ordination as necessary on pan-Asian projects.
    • Conduct campaign and performance reviews to develop constructive feedback and course correction.
    • Attend and participate in chapel services and devotional meetings.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

      REQUIRED:
    • Bachelors’ degree in marketing, business, social science or communications.
    • Masters or other advanced training in marketing a plus.
    • Advanced Understanding of Direct Response, Consumer Behaviour and Marketing Strategy.
    • A minimum of 5 years experience, at a senior level, in strategic management of Marketing.
    • Two Years Experience leading a Fundraising Operation.
    • Experience in developing new or emerging Markets, Products or channels.

      PREFERRED:
    • Proven track record working at global level or working in an environment outside their home country.
    • Willing to travel extensively regionally.
    • Fluent in English. Skills in Chinese or another Asian language desirable.
    • Excellent communicator: inter personal writing and teaching.
    • Cross cultural understanding.
    • Strong interpersonal and cross cultural communication skills.
    • Good cross cultural communications and training skills.
    • Strong Analytic skills.
    • Self starter.
    • Effective networking skills capacity to work with and lead a network.
    • Ability to manage projects.
