Project Manager - WASH (WaterAid - Pakistan)

The Project Manager will be responsible for overall management of the WASH project in 4 districts which is aimed at enhancing access of the most marginalised to WASH facilities particularly sanitation and hygiene promotion. 
They would be coordinating with the implementing partners and ensuring that progarmmes are implemented according to the agreed standards and timelines.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the implementation of the project in 4 districts through implementing partners
  2. Ensure that the agreed outputs and outcomes of the progarmme are delivered according to the set standards and timelines 
  3. Support the implementing partners in building their capacity where required
  4. Conduct regular support and monitoring visits to partners and communities
  5. Promote cross learning among IPs
  6. Engage and coordinate with the relevant district level government and civil society organizations for supporting the programme implementation. 
  7. Coordinate and liaise with stakeholders of the project in a participatory and effective manner
  8. Coordinate and support the development of an effective system of reporting and ensure that required progress reports are produced and shared with relevant staff
  9. Support, manage and groom the reporting staff member/s
  10. Ensures all agreed administrative and financial procedures are followed and maintained by implementing partners to ensure programme quality
  11. Ensure that all partner staff has good understanding of social exclusion, discrimination and rights based approaches.
  12. Ensures that gender, social inclusion, WA minimum standards and other relevant standards are mainstreamed in the project and the project is implemented in a consultative and participative way
  13. Guides partner staff on sharing strategies, procedures, successes and lesson learn 
  14. Representing WA with government agency and other inter-agency and NGO's network in the county as appropriate
