Job Purpose:

To provide operational support services for various activities relating to financial sector-related work, knowledge dissemination, database management, and other administrative functions.

Expected Outcomes

Knowledge Dissemination Outputs and Activities
  • Undertakes research and collates relevant documents.
  • Prepares presentation materials and arranges logistics of knowledge dissemination activities such as conferences, workshops and seminars.
Database/Website Management
  • Assists in developing and maintaining databases and websites.
  • Coordinates with ADB regional departments in collecting data on the financial sector in developing member countries (DMCs).
  • Verifies and provides data analysis from various sources and compiles the results as background information and data for reports produced by the Financial Sector Team in OREI.
Technical Assistance (TA) Reports, Related System and Administration
  • Assists in drafting TA papers, prepares matrix of comments, and drafts meeting minutes, prepares relevant correspondences, makes arrangements for TA missions and maintains TA files.
  • Provides support in the recruitment of consultants.
  • Prepares and updates individual Technical Assistance Performance Reports (TPRs).
  • Assists in preparation of TA completion reports. Monitors and updates the Public Information Documents/Disclosure Management System (PIDs/DMS) of TAs managed by the Financial Sector Team in OREI.
  • Maintains and updates the project processing information system (PPIS) and reports on any changes and slippages.
Office Administration
  • Provides administrative assistance to International Staff of the Financial Sector Team in OREI which includes preparation of correspondences and documents and efficient reception services.
  • Monitors and tracks incoming and outgoing documents, reports, emails for action or reassignment.
Others
● Performs other tasks as assigned and reflected in the incumbent’s workplan

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Relevant Experience And Other Requirements:

Work experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
Technical knowledge
  • Working knowledge of assigned area
  • Effective report-writing and communication skills in English and the national language (as required)
  • Proficient in spreadsheets and required information technologies
People and leadership skills
  • Able to liaise and work effectively with government officials within own work location and with colleagues throughout ADB
  • Able to work collaboratively with teams as a constructive team member.
