Fluorosis Mitigation Specialist
Location: Rajasthan, India
Job Description
Tasks:
· Supervise the overall management of the fluorosis mitigation program.
· Assist
the PMC in bidding procedures including invitation of bids, bid
evaluation, and awards of contract for NGOs with Project Director.
· Assist the PMC to supervise NGOs in implementing the fluorosis mitigation program.
· Assist the PMC to review the process and effect of FMP and revise the FMP if needed.
· Assist
the PMC to supervise the compliance of the project Director, Assistant
Directors and NGOs with the obligations and assess the extent of the
validity of the claims issued by the project Director, Assistant
Directors and NGOs.
· Assist the PMC for timely disbursement of payments for the project Director, Assistant Directors and the NGOs.
· Conduct
a terminal evaluation before commissioning of WTP based on the
evaluation guideline prepared by the planning Consultant in the same
villages of baseline survey area, and submits it to PMC.
· Conduct
a post evaluation after the third month of the defect liability period
based on the evaluation guideline prepared by the planning Consultant in
the same villages of baseline survey area, and submit it to PMC
Qualifications:
The candidate should have:
· Ph.D/Master’s Degree in Public Health and related subjects preferably fluorosis
· Min 15 years of experience post-doctoral/master’s in a reputed Organization abroad
· Have worked in a Team in Fluorosis Mitigation Project or other public health related projects.
· Should be capable of initiating and managing the social change for achieving the project objectives.
