Duty Station – Dhaka
Salary – Tk. 33,386/-(consolidated) per month inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances. No other benefit is admissible.
Job Profile
- Perform independently different serological and molecular tests according to SOP;
- Participate and assist in experiments of research support, analyses data on developing new assays/tests and evaluate rapid device;
- Participate in ISO related activities of the Molecular & Serodiagnostic Lab;
- Participate & assist lab supervisor in preparation of internal QC and systemic entry & data analysis of EQAS;
- Maintain the laboratory equipment for their optimum operation and minor trouble shooting;
- Manage reagent inventory, stock & non-stock requisition.
Requirements
- M. Sc in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Molecular Biology with good academic record;
- At least 3 years of working experience on Molecular and Serodiagnostic; However, length of experience may be relaxed up to 1 year in case of skilled candidate trained in icddr,b laboratories;
- Should have adequate skills in laboratory management and training staff;
- Shall have to keep records of tests results in systematic way;
- Must have practical experience in using the bio safety procedures;
- Maintain good relationship with peers, juniors and seniors;
- Good verbal and written skills in English and Bengali are essential.
